Groupon, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRPN) today announced the initial public offering of 35,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price of $20 per share. In addition, Groupon has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 5,250,000 shares of Class A common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares of Class A common stock are being offered by Groupon. The company's shares are expected to begin trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market on November 4, 2011 under the ticker symbol “GRPN.”
