The cabinet meeting on Monday 12, December 2011 has come to the following decision:
1. Approved the budget scheme of the flood recovery where various projects are to be commenced in January 2012 with the budget of 20,110.5572 million baht.
2. Acknowledged the work of Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board and assigned relevant agencies to follow the plans as follows:
1) Interior Ministry is to deliver 13-degit ID numbers of concerned citizens, to be received help, in various areas.
2) Department of Industrial Works to monitor and urge businesses that were earlier assisted to resume their businesses as soon as possible.
3) All governmental agencies are to carry out forms and features of the programs in determining TOR and maneuvering EIS/HIA, as well as procurement process in advance. The contract is, however, to be signed only when the budget allocation (by Bureau Budget) already in place.
4) All governmental agencies with previous requests for financial assistance are to report GIS data to the Bureau of Budget in order to integrate and plan out relevant information where all spending are to be scrutinized.
5) Concerning requested provincial projects where objectives proved to overlap each other, relevant governmental agencies are to further verify before proceeding.
6) Prime Minister's Office to be appointed as a central taskforce agency in foreseeing and inspecting the work of all ministries in an attempt to scrutinize the operation of the government on the whole.

1. Following the adopted resolution on 6 December 2011, the cabinet approved the plan to assist and rehabilitate affected victims from the floods with the budget plan amounting to 60,983.2027 million baht. The cabinet appointed Bureau of Budget and Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board to carry out the plan and determine specific projects in an attempt to assist and remedy those victims. A proposal of the project is to be presented in the future cabinet meeting.
2. Central budget and reserve budget for emergency situations are to be spent by concerned governmental agencies in alignment with the rules and conditions of the budget for fiscal year 2011 with the amount of 46,600 million baht.
