The cabinet meeting on Tuesday, 29 May 2012 has come to the following decision:
The cabinet acknowledged the draft of the Royal Decree on faculty establishment in NakhonPhanom University, Ministry of Education B.E…. which had been approved by Office of the Council of State. This draft of the Royal Decree was proposed by the Ministry of Education.
1. Terminating the Royal Decree on faculty establishment in NakhonPhanom University, Ministry of Education B.E. 2550 (draft no. 1)
2. Amending the Royal Decree on faculty establishment in NakhonPhanom University, Ministry of Education by renaming “NakhonPhanom College of Agriculture and Technology” to “Faculty of Agriculture and Technology” and renaming “NakhonPhanom Technical College” to “Faculty of Technological Industry” (draft no. 2).
The cabinet approved the 2556 fiscal year’s budget worth 109,718,581,300 Baht for National Health Security according to Bureau of the Budget’s suggestion. Gist as follows:
1. National Health Security Fund’s budget worth 108,507,461,000 Baht is distributed 2,755.60 Baht per capita. This rate is similar to the 2555 fiscal year’s rate.
2. The budget worth 1,211,120,300 Baht is distributed as the budget for National Health Security Office management. Bureau of the Budget has already requested for the 2556 fiscal year’s budget.
The cabinet acknowledged the preventive and protective measure against money laundering and terrorist sponsoring on inspecting financial institutions and officials working on transaction report according to the Committee on Anti-Money Laundering’s resolution no. 4/2554 on December 26, 2011. The measure was proposed by Minister of Justice as the commander of the Anti-Money Laundering Office.
The cabinet approved civil servants’ participation in Ordination for the King project aiming at making merit for the King and Celebrating Buddhist week in the occasion of VisakhaBucha 2555 and Bhuddachayanti 2,600 anniversary of the Lord Buddha’s enlightenment. All civil servants from both central and local governmental agencies can leave for ordination; their days off will be counted as working days and their salaries will not be affected from the days off. Days off are limited to 15 days according to the proposal from Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office (Mr. NiwattamrongBoonsongpisal).
The cabinet allowed Ministry of Defense by Royal Thai Army to deploy troops to join in United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon: UNIFIL. All troops benefit from the multiple years of governmental work, a special pension according to article 24 of the Royal Decree on Special Pension B.E. 2494, and rights to special pension in emergency case according to Ministry of Defense’s Regulation on Special Pension in Emergency Case B.E. 2529 during the operation time, as well as a special governmental task according to Ministry of Defense. Ministry of Foreign Affairs is appointed to confirm the deployment with the United Nations.
