Approval in principle of Draft Ministerial Regulation on Labour Protection in Agriculture Work B.E... as proposed by Ministry of Labour. The Ministerial Regulation is to promote labour protection especially the child labour in agriculture work and seen as the measures in line with the key government policy on suppression and protection human trafficking. The regulation is to prohibit the employment of young workers under 15 of the age. The employers has to offer the annual holiday after working of 180 days at least three days and pay for sick leaves not more than fifteen days and provide welfare.
Approval in the principle of Draft Ministerial Regulation on Labour Protection in Sea Fisheries Work B.E. as proposed by Ministry of Labour. The main objectives is to prohibit the employment of child labour under 18 of age in fishing vessels and emphasize the labour protections in sea fishery industry in accordance with Ministerial regulations including health care and measures to prevent accident.

Approval Thailand to host ASEAN+3 Health Ministers Meeting on Ebola Preparedness and Response and Academic Meeting of Senior officials as proposed by Ministry of Health. Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs will co-host one day ASEAN+3 Health Ministers Meeting on Ebola Preparedness and Response and Academic Meeting of Senior Officials in Bangkok in this December 2014. The United Nations and World Health Organization has warned every countries to aware of Ebola. Even though Thailand is regarded as the low risk country for Ebola the country will play the active role together with People’s Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea under ASEAN+3 to promote the capacity building, preparedness and response on Ebola in region.
