Approval MOU on the Agricultural Cooperation between Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand and Industry and Primary Resources of Brunei Darussalam. The Cabinet also designates Minister of Agricultural and Cooperatives or his representatives to sign the MOU. The MOU is aimed at promoting agricultural cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand in fields of academic cooperation, fishery, plant and irrigation and cooperatives development for their mutual benefits. The form of cooperation is included the exchange of expertise and researchers, conducting joint R &D, training and seminar and marketing promotion.
Approval Joint Declaration of the ASEAN Defense Ministers on Defense Cooperation towards Peaceful and Prosperous ASEAN Community as proposed by Ministry of Defense. The Joint Declaration is to express the intention of ASEAN’s Defense Ministry to strengthen regional security and promote peace and prosperous society in ASEAN community .
Acknowledgement the Investment Project for Transportation Development 2015 as proposed by the Ministry of Transport. The Ministry of Transport organized Workshop with the concerned Offices to find out land sea and air transport solution. The investment project will reflect the holistic development of transportation system and bring out the tangible outcomes. The investment will be covered in six areas as follows;
1.1 Development in Dual track Train both Standard Gauge and Meter Gauge Train
1.2 Development in Mass Rapid Transit in Bangkok and vicinity
1.3 Development in Motorway
1.4 Development in sea transportation
1.5 Capacity building in air transport
1.6 Mass Transport Development
Draft National Strategy on Sea Security (2015-2019) as proposed by National Security Council. Draft Strategy is consisting of six strategic points
-1st Strategy is to build capacity in sea security in order to protect sovereignty and territorial waters from all kinds of treats
-2nd Strategy is to protect the sea exploitation in guard life and people’s right in conducting activity in and out territorial sea
-3rd Strategy is to create peace and order and promote the sea exploitation.
-4th Strategy is to create balance and sustainable of national resources and environment
-5th Strategy is to develop human knowledge and awareness the important of sea
-6th Strategy is to manage the national interest in sea under the government agency’s responsibility.
