The cabinet met on July 16, 2019 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cainet acknowledged a proposal made by the Cabinet Secretariat on guideline for assignment of members of cabinet to act in place of ministers in case there is no person holding the Ministerfor Ministry position, or there is but he or she is unable to perform the duties. This is as stipulated in the State Administration Act. B.E. 2534 as follows:
1. Deputy Minister shall be the Acting.
2. If there are several Deputy Ministers, the Council of Ministers shall assign any one Deputy Minister to be the Acting.
3. If there is no person holding the Deputy Minister position or there is but he or she is unable to perform the duties, the Council of Ministers shall assign any one Minister to be the Acting.
The cabinet approved a proposal made by Secretariat of the Prime Minister to appoint Mr. Dissatat Hotrakit Secretary General of the Prime Minister (political official). The appointment has taken effect from July 16, 2019 onward.
The cabinet approved the proposal of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister on assignment of Deputy Prime Ministers to act in place of the Prime Minister as follows:
In case the Prime Minister is unable to perform the duties, the Deputy Prime Minister of the following order shall be the Acting Prime Minister:
1. General Prawit Wongsuwon
2. Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak
3. Mr. Wissanu Krea-ngam
4. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit
5. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul
While acting in place of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned in the above order shall be consented by the Prime Minister before making any order related to personnel management and budget approval that are within the Prime Minister’s authority.
The cabinet acknowledged Office of the Prime Minister’s Order No. 161/2019 on Assignment of Deputy Prime Ministers to act in place of the Prime Minister, other Deputy Prime Ministers, and Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office.

In case that the Prime Minister is unable to perform the duties, the Deputy Prime Minister of the following order shall be the Acting Prime Minister:

2. Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak
3. Mr. Wissanu Krea-ngam
4. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit
5. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul
