The cabinet met on August 6, 2019 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved the proposal made by the Cabinet Secretariat regarding guideline on processing of draft acts and ordinances (draft royal decrees, draft ministerial regulations, draft regulations, draft announcement) that are under deliberation of Office of Council of State or committee on scrutiny of draft laws and ordinances to be proposed to the cabinet. The cabinet stipulated that:
1. Office of Council of State or committee on scrutiny of draft laws and ordinances to be proposed to the cabinet are authorized to continue deliberating the draft acts and ordinances, and notify concerned agencies before submitting to the cabinet for final approval.
2. Office of Council of State is to continue deliberating draft Ministerial Regulation on Comprehensive Urban Plan in accordance with the Urban Planning Act, B.E. 2562 to be promulgated on November 25, 2019, and notify concerned agency before submitting to the cabinet for final approval.
The cabinet approved the following proposals made by the Budget Bureau: Approved the annual budget of FY2020Assigned concerned agencies to proceed according to the recommendations of the 4 offices (the Budget Bureau, Ministry of Finance, Office of National Economic and Social Development Board, and the Bank of Thailand)Gist
Annual budget for FY2020 is set as the deficit budget, with the budget framework of 3.2 trillion Baht, 20 billion Baht higher than the annual budget of FY2019.
