The cabinet met on February 24, 2020 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved the draft Royal Decree prescribing controlled science and technology professionals, as proposed by Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
The draft Royal Decree prescribes science and technology professionals in the fields of geology and environmental health as controlled science and technology professionals. At present, 4 fields of professionals have been prescribed as controlled science and technology professionals. They are nuclear, scientific environmental impact assessment and pollution control, production, control and management of hazardous chemicals, and microbial culture and use of pathogenic microorganisms.
The cabinet acknowledged the draft Ministerial Regulation on Division of Office of the National Security Council, Prime Minister’s Office, B.E. …, which has been scrutinized by Office of Council of State. Office of the National Security Council is to propose the draft Ministerial Regulation to the Prime Minister for his signature before being published in the Royal Gazette.
The draft Ministerial Regulation prescribes re-division of the Office of the National Security Council as follows:

3. Directorate of Security Policy and Planing
4. Directorate of Threat Assessment

The cabinet approved the Letter of Intent between Wastewater Management Authority and Japan Sewage Works Agency, and authorized representative of Wastewater Management Authority as signatory of the Letter of Intent.
The Letter of Intent is aimed to facilitate cooperation between the two agencies, and promote exchange of knowledge and personnel, and activities on wastewater management. Scope of cooperation includes development policy and wastewater management, assessment technology and technique, standard and manual on wastewater management, promotion of technical cooperation, etc.
