The cabinet met on August 4, 2020 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Royal Decree prescribing state agency under the Liability for Wrongful Act of Officials, B.E. 2539 (No. …), B.E. …, as proposed by National Farmers Council.
Under the draft Royal Decree, National Farmers Council will be prescribed as a state agency under the Liability for Wrongful Act of Officials, B.E. 2539.
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Ministerial Regulation prescribing area for Bangpakong Port and Bangpakong Pier, Chachoengsao province, B.E. …, as proposed by Ministry of Transport. The Ministry was also ordered to take opinions of EEC and NESDB into consideration with regard to the matter.
The area around Bangpakong River and the Gulf of Thailand in Chachoengsao province has become the country’s major waterway transport route. In order to enhance convenience and efficiency in safety control, waterway traffic, water pollution control, the Ministerial Regulation has been drafted to prescribe demarcated area for Bangpakong Port and Bangpakong Pier. This is also to be in line with the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
