The cabinet met on August 13, 2020 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Prime Minister’s Office Regulation on urgent phase of law reform mobilization, B.E. …, as proposed by Office of National Reform, National Strategy, and Reconciliation Mobilization.
The draft Prime Minister’s Office Regulation on urgent phase of law reform mobilization prescribes establishment of a steering committee for the urgent phase of law reform as part of the Government’s endeavor to implement the national reform plan.
The Committee comprises not more than 15 members with a deputy prime minister or an authorized minister as advisory member. Members include director-general of Office of National Reform, National Strategy, and Reconciliation Mobilization, representatives of the Cabinet Secretariat, Office of the Public Sector Development Commission, representatives of Office of National Reform, National Strategy, and Reconciliation Mobilization (as member and secretary), representatives of Office of Council of State and Office of National Economic and Social Development Board (as member and assistant secretary), and other 7 members. The committee will be chaired by an expert appointed by the Prime Minister.
The Committee is tasked to provide advices, guidelines, and suggestions to Office of National Reform, National Strategy, and Reconciliation Mobilization and other concerned public agencies with regard to the revision, improvement, or revocation of laws in accordance with the national reform plan and the national strategy.
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Royal Decree on land readjustment in Thor Thae sub-district, Wat Bot district, Phitsanulok province, B.E. …, as proposed by Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives
The draft Royal Decree on land readjustment in Thor Thae sub-district, Wat Bot district, Phitsanulok province, B.E. … prescribes scope of land to be readjusted in Phitsanulok’s Tho Thae sub-district for agricultural purpose. Readjusted land will be benefited from the irrigation system and have access to public utilities, thereby, promoting the country’s agriculture, and increase of farmers’ revenues.
