The cabinet met on September 8, 2020 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved 17 outcome documents for the 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related ministerial meetings. Should there be an amendment in parts that are not gist nor against national interests, Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to proceed without having to resubmit to the cabinet. Minister of Foreign Affairs or a representative is authorized to adopt documents in 1., and co-sign documents in 2.1 and 2.2. Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assigned to notify the ASEAN Secretariat that the Thai Government agrees for the ASEAN Secretary-General to sign documents in 2.3. This is as proposed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
