The cabinet met on February 9, 2021 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Ministerial Regulation prescribing Industrial Standard for Hot-Rolled Steel Strip for Doctwork, B.E. ?, as proposed by Ministry of Industry.
The draft Ministerial Regulation prescribes international standard of hot-rolled steel strip for ductwork to be in accordance with Industrial Standard No. 1735 ? 2563 under Industry Ministerial Announcement No. 5806 (B.E. 2563) issued under the Industrial Product Standards Act, B.E. 2511.
The cabinet acknowledged resolution of the National Elderly Commission, in its 1/2021 meeting, dated February 5, 2021, regarding Preventive and Response Measures on Redundancy of Eldery Pension with other Welfares, as proposed by Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
1. Temporarily stop the process of reclaiming pensions that are redundant with other welfares from 5,700 elderly people, and from another 2,000 people on the waitlist.
2. Ministry of Social Development and Human Security is ordered to work together with other concerned agencies, i.e., Office of Council of State, Local Administrations, the Comptroller General's Department, and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, in identifying assistance measures for the elderly people and preventive measures in accordance with the related laws.
