The cabinet met on March 2, 2021 at the Government House. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Natural Resources and Environment Ministerial Announcement on extension of Natural Resources and Environment Ministerial Announcement on environmental protection zoning area in Phang-nga province?s Kuraburi, Takua Pa, Thai Muang, Thap Put, Muang, Takua Thung, and Koh Yao districts, B.E. 2559 (2016), as proposed by the Ministry.
The Natural Resources and Environment Ministerial Announcement on environmental protection zoning area in Phang-nga province?s Kuraburi, Takua Pa, Thai Muang, Thap Put, Muang, Takua Thung, and Koh Yao districts, B.E. 2559, which has entered into force during April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2021 (5 years) is going to expire. As the new and revised Announcement for this matter is still under the process, and has yet to be finalized, the cabinet, therefore, approved for the existing Announcement to be extended for another 2 years from April 1, 2021 onward.

As the new and revised Announcement for this matter is still under the process, and has yet to be finalized, the cabinet, therefore, approved for the existing Announcement to be extended for another 2 years from May 31, 2021 onward.
The cabinet approved the proposal made by Ministry of Energy on extension of onshore petroleum production of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc. (Block E5 Concesion Number 2/2522/17) for another 10 years from March 16, 2021 to March 15, 2031. The extension is approved in accordance with Section 26 of the Petroleum Act, B.E. 2514.
