The cabinet met via a video conference on September 21, 2021. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Money Laundering Control Act (No. ?), B.E. ?, as proposed by Anti-Money Laundering Office. Comments of Ministry of Justice are to be taken into consideration before forwarding the draft Act to Parliament coordination committee.
The draft Money Laundering Control Act (No. ?), B.E. ? prescribes amendment of the definition of the term ?fundamental offenses? to include offense on smuggling of migrants under the Immigration Act as a fundamental offense.
The cabinet approved in principle the draft Ministerial Regulation on Public Procurement by Specific Method (No. ?), B.E. ?, as proposed by Ministry of Finance.
The draft Ministerial Regulation on Public Procurement by Specific Method (No. ?), B.E. ? is an amendment to the Ministerial Regulation on Public Procurement by Specific Method, B.E. 2561 to include public procurement and supply related to organization of the APEC Summit and related meetings of all levels. This also includes preparation, public relations, or other related missions. The amendment will enable public procurement and supply related to organization of the APEC Summit and related meetings of all levels to be conducted by specific methods. This is in order to facilitate the Government?s preparation to host the APEC Summit and related meetings in 2022.
The cabinet approved the FY2021 budget (central fund for expenses to mitigate and remedy COVID-19-affected people) for the period of March 1- September 30, 2021 at the total amount of 380,444,840 Baht, to the Royal Thai Army, the Royal Thai Navy, and the Royal Thai Air Force. The approved budget is for expenditures related to tackling of spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is as proposed by Ministry of Defense.
The cabinet approved the FY2021 budget (central fund for expenses to mitigate and remedy COVID-19-affected people) at the amount of 130,569,700 Baht to Office of Permanent Secretary to Ministry of Defense (8th phase) during the period of June 1- July 20, 2021. This is for expenses related to the operation of state quarantine in private spaces. This is as proposed by Ministry of Defense.
The cabinet approved the FY2021 budget (central fund for expenses to mitigate and remedy COVID-19-affected people) at the total amount of 197,983,630 Baht, to the Transport Co., Ltd. The approved budget is for expenditures related to bus arrangement for Thai expartriates who have returned from the countries at risk of COVID-19 during the period of June 5, 2020- March 31, 2021. This is as proposed by Ministry of Transport.
