A special session of the cabinet was held on September 6, 2023. Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet approved the following proposal of the Cabinet Secretariat:
Approved the draft Government?s policy statement to be delivered to the Parliament, and assigned the Cabinet Secretariat to liaise and proceed with related matters, i.e., printing, disseminating copies of the policy statement to members of the Parliament
Determined the date for delivery of the Government?s policy statement (September 11, 2023)
Assigned Ministry of Foreign Affairs to translate the Government?s policy statement into English
Title: Assigning Deputy Prime Minister or Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office to review cabinet resolutions and scrutinize issues and agendas to be submitted Prime Minister
Assigned Deputy Prime Minister or Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office to review and sign to certify cabinet resolutions before notifying concerned agencies/individuals for compliance and implementation
Approved for Deputy Prime Minister overseeing legal matters to scrutinize the following cases and matters, as proposed by the Cabinet Secretariat, before forwarding to the Prime Minister
Administrative cases, tried and adjudicated by the Administrative Court, against the cabinet, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, or Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office
Legal cases, tried and adjudicated by the Constitutional Court, against the cabinet
Issues related to statutory laws
The cabinet approved the proposal of the Office of Prime Minister?s Secretary General to appoint Mr. Prommin Lertsuridej as Prime Minister?s Secretary General, to be effective from September 6, 2023 onward.
