Some of the resolutions are as follows:
The cabinet acknowledged outcome of study on Ministry of Education restructuring for establishment of Office of Secondary Education Administration conducted by the Senate?s Education Committee, as proposed by Ministry of Education.
The cabinet, in its meeting on November 14, 2023, has come up with a resolution to assign Ministry of Education to work together with Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), and other concerned agencies in scrutinizing the study on Ministry of Education restructuring for an establishment of Office of Secondary Education Administration conducted by the Senate?s Education Committee within 30 days.
Ministry of Education has taken action according to the above cabinet?s resolution, and has made approval to the restructure of Secondary Education Administration Division under Office of the Basic Education Commission as a new entity called ?Office of Secondary Education Administration? of which its scope of work is to promote and support the Government?s and Ministry of Education?s policies for the development of secondary schools throughout the country.
The cabinet approved unilateral addition of holiday for the year 2024, as proposed by Office of the Cabinet Secretariat, for another day on April 12, 2024. This will make a five-day holiday including the weekend during Songkran Holidays. This is in order to boost domestic economy, especially the tourism sector.
Announcement of the unilateral addition of holiday for the year 2024 will enable Government agencies and state enterprises, as well as the private sector, to plan their activities in advance. With an addition of April 12 as an extra holiday, public holidays, including substitution holidays, in 2024 total 21 days.

The cabinet acknowledged and approved the following proposals of Office of Economic and Social Development Council:
1. Acknowledged performances for the year 2022 and Activity Progress for the year 2023 of Bangkok- UNDP Regional Innovation Center (RIC) or Thailand Policy Lab (TPLab)
2. Approved extension of the implementation period of RIC for another 7 months to end of September 2024 (originally ending is on February 29, 2024) under the previously approved budget framework
3. Approved an amendment of the Agreement on Bangkok- UNDP Regional Innovation Center (RIC). Should there be an amendment in parts that are not gist nor against national interest, Office of Economic and Social Development Council may proceed without having to resubmit to the cabinet
4. Approved Secretary-General of Office of Economic and Social Development Council or a representative as signatory of the amended agreement. Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assigned to issue the Full Powers to the signatory.
The cabinet approved the following proposals of Ministry of Energy:
1. Approved the draft Joint Work Programme between the Ministry of Energy of the kingdom of Thailand and the International Energy Agency 2024 ? 2025
2. Approved Minister of Energy or a representative as signatory of the draft Joint Work Programme
3. Should there be an amendment in parts that are not gist nor against national interest and the principle approved by the cabinet, Ministry of Energy may proceed and inform the cabinet later.
The draft Joint Work Programme between the Ministry of Energy of the kingdom of Thailand and the International Energy Agency 2024 ? 2025 will be signed on February 13, 2024 during the IEA Ministerial Meeting 2024, held on February 13-15, 2024 in Paris, Republic of France. The draft Joint Work Programme will take effect during 2024-2025, and is aimed to promote energy cooperation and tangible development of Thai energy sector, especially in clean energy technology and innovation, energy conservation, and carbon emission reduction, among others.
