Hotel Okura Kobe's annual summer event "Beer & Barbecue Garden" is held in Japan from July 1 to Sep.18, 2011 as follows. In March 2011, Mr. Kobayashi, PR manager of Hotel Okura Kobe contacted TTC Osaka and explained that they had served 2 Thai food menus at this event in 2010 and sold well, so decided to serve in 2011again and asked for advice on Thai food menus and stage events from TTC Osaka. TTC gave information of popular Thai food menus and contact address of Thai alcoholic beverages importers and Thai dance/music performers in Japan. As a result, Hotel Okura Kobe increased the choice of Thai food menus to 8 items including "SPY wine cooler". On 17 July 2011, TTC Osaka went to inspect their event and found that many visitors attracted by Thai foods and Thai Culture (Thai Dance & Music Night Live was held on the stage on that day). TTC Osaka expects that this event will be a good opportunity to raise awareness of Thai foods among Japanese consumers, and promote Thai food products import as well. Outline of the event
