The 26 th Monde Ethnica Fashion Messe Osaka, a joint exhibition by 8 ethnic apparel manufacturers / importers, was held on 18-19 October 2011 at Osaka Merchandise Mart (OMM) in Japan.
This fair is the event held twice a year in spring and autumn at Tokyo and Osaka with the theme of "Natural and Relax", that targeting niche ethnic market in Japan. There are many Thai products with natural taste such as clothes and scarves made from cotton/hemp/silk fabrics, basket / fabric bags, and natural stone / silver accessories.

4. Result of Meeting:
Mr. Yamamoto, president of Japan Fest Promotion Co.,Ltd. (JFP) said that production base of many exhibitors of this fair are located in Thailand and offered that he is willing to provide opportunity for Thai exporters to exhibit their products at this fair.
Ms. Siripan, executive director of TTC Osaka expressed thanks to Mr. Yamamoto for his proposal and exchanged information on textile/garments and flooding in Thailand.
TTC exchanged information with Thai products importers listed on the page 2 and asked them to visit or participate in DEP/TTC's Thai promotion events by introducing some examples such as BIFF, annual trade fair in Bangkok and Thai textiles booth (Organic cotton from Esarn and silk from Chiangmai) at the 46 th Osaka Int'l Gift Show in September 2011. Thai products importers answered that they are waiting for invitation from TTC at a later date.
