-The largest & the only World Wines Tasting event in West Japan -
Wine Kansai 2011, the largest & the only world wines tasting event in West-Japan, was held on 20 October 2011 at Osaka Merchandise Mart (OMM) by Global Corporation, a market-leading & exclusive importer and a nation-wide wholesaler of wine cellars, wine glasses and wine accessories.
This event is open to cooperate/commercial clients only, such as sommeliers, chefs, liquor shops and the other wine professionals who are eager to know the new trend of wine. This year, Ikemitsu Enterprizes Co.,Ltd., an importer of Thai wine who is always participated in TTC's promotion activities, was participated in this fair for the first time to introduce Thai wines together with Thai beers in West-Japan market and their booth attracted many visitors.
TTC Osaka supported them by sending invitation to major hotels and department stores in Kanasai, PR on TTC's website and coordinating TV interview to Ikemitsu Enterprises at the fair.
"Wine Kansai" is considered to be a great opportunity to increase awareness about Thai wines and alcoholic beverages and develop new customers in Japan. TTC expect that participation to this fair will generate export of Thai alcoholic beverages to Japan in the near future.

Headquarter of Global Corporation, organizer of this fair is located in Osaka and they present the two biggest wine tasting events every year in Japan, "WINE TOKYO" in spring and "WINE KANSAI" in autumn, with support and cooperation from wine/liquor industrial associations and organizations, as well as government organizations of wine producing countries such as America, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, and South Africa. In each event, around 65-80 wine importers / manufacturers who are seeking new business opportunities are participated in this fair and present their very best ranges of products.
