3-1. Thai Fruits Mission to Thailand
TTC asked Mr. Iriyama, Showa Boeki Co.,Ltd. that seeing Thailand’s flooding situation, how they think about fruits mission to Thailand in January 2012 with buyers of Uny Co.,ltd. Mr. Iriyama reported that there is no serious damage to their farms in western Thailand, and both Showa & Uny agree on the importance of visiting fruits farm and factory in Thailand to ensure products’ quality after the flood disaster.
But in his opinion, Thai fruits import will never get damage unless infectious disease outbreak in Thailand.
3-2. UNY Thai Food Fair 2012
Showa Boeki & TTC exchanged opinion about updated planning paper (the 2nd) of “UNY Thai Food Fair 2012” including new idea “Thai-fruits seminar”.

*TTC will be waiting for updated planning paper from Showa Boeki and then ask availability of Thai cooking instructor who will be invited to annual Thai cooking classes by Royal Thai Consulate General Osaka.
3-3. Thai Fruits Promotion in Shikoku Area
Showa Boeki reported that negotiation with regional supermarket chain “Sunny Mart” (Headquater: Kochi Pref.) is continuing still, but it seems difficult due to Kochi is a prefecture of agriculture and fisheries and imported foods market is not so developed.
TTC requested Showa Boeki to consider Thai Fruits Seminar in Kochi or other Shikoku area to develop new market for Thai foods.
