2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment & Trade Fair and the 2nd
China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum
Co-organized by Ministry of Commerce, CCPIT and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Government, 2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment & Trade Fair and the 2nd China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum was held successfully from 21 to 25September, 2011 in Ningxia International Convention and Exhibition center.
According to different functions of the halls during the fair, Ningxia International Convention and Exhibition center is divided into five parts: international halal food and Muslim products hall (Hall A, 1 st floor), domestic hahal food and Muslim products hall (Hall B, 1 st floor), international theme hall (Hall C, 1 st floor), energy and chemical products hall (Hall D & E, 1 st floor) and specialized products hall (Hall B, C and D, 3 rd floor).
In international halal food and Muslim products hall, there are altogether 200 standard booth, exhibiting halal products from Arab countries and Muslim areas. Enterprises from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, U.K, India, Kuwait, Dubai, as well as some local famous halal companies from Guizhou province, Hebei province, Zhejiang province, Beijing municipality and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region are exhibiting in this hall. C.P. from Thailand is also demonstrating part of their commodities such as chicken sausages here.
In domestic halal food and Muslim products hall, around 134 halal enterprises from all around China are demonstrating in 200 booths. There are halal companies from Xinjiang, Shanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Shandong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Taiwan in this hall.
With an area of 3000 square meters, International theme hall (Hall C, 1 st floor) is demonstrating the image of the countries from the Arab world as well as showcasing some investment and cooperation projects from Ningxia. Oman, Jordan, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Algeria, Yemen, South Africa, Egypt, Mauritania, Azerbaijan, Tunis, Malaysia as well as European Union have their special decorated booth here.
Energy and chemical products hall covers around 12500 square meters. It is exhibiting new products and updated technology of coal chemical industry, petrochemical industry as well as new energy industry enterprises. In this hall, big enterprises include CNPC, SINOCHEM GROUP, Bank of China and HEDDA from Germany etc.
Specialized products halls B, C and D is on the 3 rd floor. There are altogether 300 booths on this floor. Products which do not have authorized halal certificates, are exhibiting here. About 7 enterprises from southern Thailand, organized by Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce are demonstrating their products near the main escalator entrance area. On this floor, there are also enterprises from Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan as well as some local Chinese companies.
2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment & Trade Fair and the 2nd China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum was open to public for the whole period. Generally speaking, people are interested in food products, garments as well as specialized souvenirs.
It is released that during the whole period of 2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment & Trade Fair, there are altogether 2350 enterprises from China and abroad with 8460 visitors. 58 international and domestic contract projects have been signed with gross investment amount 83.95billion Yuan.
