- The Most Beautiful Factory looks like a Palace -

In Ehime Prefecture in Japan, there is a beautiful European style palace which is designed based on the Belvedere Palace in Vienna, Austria. It looks like a palace, but it is a factory owned by Nihon Shokken Holdings Co.,Ltd., the number one seasoning sauce manufacturer in Japan. They are making sauce for grilled meat (yakiniku-no-tare ) and fried chicken mix (kara-age-ko ) in the palace!
This factory was built in 2006, commemorate the company's 35 th anniversary spending 8,000 million yen (about 3,200 million baht). Japanese consumers are familiar with Nishon Shokken's TV commercial, which was filmed at this palace, known as KO Palace Plant (KO Kyuden Koujo ). The name of the factory was derived from the name of founder president; Mr. Kazuhiro Ozawa.
This palatial factory is located next to the company headquarters, designed with galleries to enable visitors to tour the facilities. (Reservation is required)

3-1. Outline of the Company
Nihon Shokken is the number one manufacturer of seasoning sauce (tare ) and fried chicken mix (kara-age-ko ) in Japan. They have 4 plants in Japan and 1 plant in China, and produce 5,300 types of products per year.
Nihon Shokken's products are sold in over 40 countries throughout the world. * There is "Palace Food Culture Museum" in the KO Palace Plant, and showcasing 234 items of tableware from 24 countries including Thailand's Benjaron bowls, plates and Silverwares.
3-2. Business Relationship with Thailand - Established representative office in Bangkok in Jul.2003.

TTC Osaka exchanged information on import/export with Nihon Shokken Holdings Co.,Ltd., and got to know that they are interested in both establishing company (for food manufacturing / sales) or branch (for food sales) in Thailand and developing import items from Thailand in the future.
TTC recommended them to visit THAIFEX in Thailand for finding new items for import. Then TTC gave basic information on foreign business in Thailand, and suggested them to contact with Department of Business Development (DBD) in Bangkok and Board of Investment (BOI) in Osaka for detailed information.
Mr. Oketani, General Manager of Nihon Shokken expressed thanks to TTC Osaka and requested TTC to introduce them to BOI Osaka for the first step. Ms. Siripan, executive director of TTC Osaka answered that TTC is willing to help them and requested them to visit TTC office whenever they have chance to come to Osaka.
