Promising Imports Exhibition, samples exhibition from five Asian countries including Thailand, was held from Nov.1, 2011 to Jan.31, 2012 (for 3 months) at Ehime International Logistics Terminal (I-LOT) by Ehime Prefecture and Ehime Foreign Access Zone Co.,Ltd. This event was open to business clients only, by sending direct mail to 240 companies in Ehime Prefecture. TTC Osaka supported them by sending Thai products samples for their exhibition and PR on TTC’s website. We have received fair report from the fair operator.

Ehime Faz promotes to introduce the exhibition as well as Matsuyama Port and ILOT.

Number of visitors---85 persons from 48 companies/organizations
Business lead--- 1 for a Taiwanese company and 2 Indonesian companies
There were 2 more business lead; however, they did not reach business negotiations.
Thai Textile companies in General: 6 Mae Teeta Natual: 1 (Indigo hat) Jaifah Chiangmai: 1 (Mango wood products) Vassachol: 1 (Solar plants flower) Oriental Beauty Charm Co., Ltd.: 3 (Spa products) Followed-up Case: One company was interested in spa products from Oriental Beauty Charm, and Ehime Faz followed up with them. The company said since they do no have experience nor license to import cosmetics, it is rather difficult and costly to import directly from Thailand.
