and Financial Institutions in Thailand During the Year 2010

          Monday        1  Mar   Substitution for Makha Bucha Day (Sunday 28 February)

Tuesday 6 Apr Chakri Day

Tuesday 13 Apr Songkran Festival

Wednesday 14 Apr Songkran Festival

Thursday 15 Apr Songkran Festival

Friday 16 Apr Special Holiday (Government only)

          Monday        3  May   Substitution for National Labour Day (Saturday 1 May)

Wednesday 5 May Coronation Day

Friday 28 May Wisakha Bucha Day

Thursday 1 Jul Mid Year Closing Day

Monday 26 Jul Asarnha Bucha Day

Effective from B.E. 2550 onwards, the Asarnha Bucha Day

is prescribed as a holiday, in replacement of the Buddhist Lent Day

Thursday 12 Aug H.M. the Queen's Birthday

          Friday        13 Aug   Special Holiday

          Monday        25 Oct   Substitution for Chulalongkorn Day (Saturday 23 October)

          Monday         6 Dec   Substitution for H.M. the King's Birthday (Sunday 5 December)

          Friday        10 Dec   Constitution Day

          Friday        31 Dec   New Year 's Eve

For financial institutions in Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, and Satun, an extra holiday is given for the Eidilfitri Day (Ramadan Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office if it does not fall on any of the holidays listed above or Saturday and Sunday.
