Denla British School Students Win 24 Medals at the World Scholar’s Cup 2019

Bangkok--16 Sep--Denla British School (DBS) Students from Denla British School (DBS), a leading international school that implements the UK curriculum from the best practice of independent schools in the UK, won prizes at the World Scholar's Cup 2019 (WSC 2019). This is a world-class academic competition where students from around the world compete for academic excellence in debating, essay writing, and discussions, demonstrating their ideas and knowledge. This year, the event was held between 6-11 September 2019 in Manila, the Philippines, under the competition theme "A World on the Margins." Students used their knowledge and skills in6key subjects related to this year's theme: Science - Enabling Technologies;Literature - Voices from the Margins;Art and Music - Louder Than Words;History - Neglected Histories; Social Studies - On the Edge of Society;and Special Area -Unsolved Mysteries. Students fromDBSperformed brilliantly, and were able to win 24 medals from the competition, consisting of10gold and 14silvermedals, from about 1,500 competitors from 30 countries.
