Mr. Marwan Sudah, a Jordanian journalist, wrote articles about the Royal Project at the Coastal Centre for Fishing Research and Development in Prachaupkirikan province. In his articles, Mr. Sudan expressed appreciation for the initiatives of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand, who have been working tirelessly to improve the quality of life and the standard of living for all the Thai people.

The articles focus on the Royal Project for breeding of giant clams at glance as well as the cooperation between the two countries in exchanging their techniques and technology in mariculture, which help strengthen the ties between both countries. With cooperation on mariculture between the two countries and economic value that giant clams offer, Jordan could potentially develop to be a centre of marine industry in the Middle East region.

Mr. Sudah has attended the trip to visit Thailand, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Jordan. He visited the Royal Rainmaking Project and the Coastal Centre for Fishing Research and Development in Prachaupkhirikan during 7 — 9 September 2010.
