On 21 October 2010, Mr. Abdalla Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the state of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kasit Piromya, Foreign Minister, on the occasion of the completion of his mission in Thailand.
Foreign Minister Kasit expressed his appreciation to the Qatari Ambassador for his dedication and hard work during his assignment to the Kingdom in strengthening the relationship between the two countries as the first ambassador of the state of Qatar to Thailand. Foreign Minister Kasit also thanked the Qatari Ambassador for his active role in promoting the better understanding about Thai political situation to the Middle East world. In addition, both sides also exchanged views on ways and means to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in various areas such as investment and tourism.
