US Ambassador bids farewell to Foreign Minister Kasit

On 26 November 2010, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Eric G. John, Ambassador of the United States of America to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kasit Piromya, Foreign Minister, on the occasion of the completion of his mission. In this regard, the Foreign Minister hosted luncheon in honor of the US Ambassador on the same day.

Foreign Minister Kasit expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador for his dedication in enhancing the bilateral relations between Thailand and the US in several areas during his mission to the Kingdom such as promoting Thai — US Creative Partnership. The Foreign Minister also said that the visits of the US leading figures such as Mrs. Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, and Mr. Ray Mabus, the US Secretary of the Navy, promote closer bilateral relations. During the meeting, both sides exchanged their views on strengthening the future cooperation between the two countries in various areas such as health, education, and military.
