On 7 December 2010, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mpumelelo Joseph N. Hlophe, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Swaziland, residence in Kuala Lumpur, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kasit Piromya, Foreign Minister of Thailand, on the occasion of his attendance in Royal Ceremonies in celebration of His Majesty the King’s 83rd Birthday from 2 — 8 December 2010.
Foreign Minister Kasit and the Ambassador discussed various issues on bilateral relations and cooperation. In this regard, Mr. Hlophe expressed his appreciation to the Thai Government for development assistance in areas which Thailand has the expertise such as the Mushroom project. Also, the Foreign Minister reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment in continuing close development cooperation especially in areas of sustainable agriculture, health, environment, and tourism management.
