Thailand will be hosting the Asia-Middle East Dialogue Thailand 2010 (AMED III) during 15-16 December 2010 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will preside over the opening ceremony on 15 December 2010 at 0915 hrs at the Plenary Hall 2, QSNCC.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to inform members of media interested in covering the event that the deadline for online registration has passed since 30 November 2010 and onsite registration will open during 14-15 December 2010 from 0900-1700 hrs at the main foyer of the QSNCC.
Interested members of media are required to prepare the following documents for Media Accreditation:
1. For Thai media: valid press card issued by the news agency and assignment letter signed by editor, along with one copy of both documents per person.
2. For foreign media based in Thailand: valid press card issued by the Department of Public Relations and assignment letter signed by editor, along with one copy of both documents per person.
3. For foreign media from abroad: valid passport and assignment letter signed by editor, along with one copy of all documents per person.
It is necessary that interested members of media must be present for registration because their photos for media passes must be taken onsite. Those who would like to cover the event on 15 December 2010 are strongly advised to complete their registration by 14 December 2010.
For members of media who have been accredited through online registration, it is a requirement to bring the following documents for media pass collection at the Registration Counter during the operating hours.
1. For Thai media: the accreditation letter that was sent to the e-mail used for the online registration, the original copy of the assignment letter signed by editor, and a valid press card issued by the news agency.
2. For foreign media based in Thailand: the accreditation letter that was sent to the e-mail used for the online registration, the original copy of the assignment letter signed by editor, and a valid press card issued by the Department of Public Relations.
3. For foreign media from abroad: the accreditation letter that was sent to the e-mail used for the online registration, the original copy of the assignment letter signed by editor, and a valid passport.
