Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha donates funds to assist victims of the natural disaster in Japan

On 22 March 2011, Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha graciously designated Dr. Pichit Suwonprakorn, Vice President of the Princess Pa Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, as Their Representatives to donate 1 million Baht to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to acquire and distribute fresh food to victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Mr. Seiji Kojima, Ambassador of Japan, was also present at the ceremony, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On this occasion, Dr. Pichit announced to those present at the ceremony that Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha wished to convey Their Appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the timely delivery of the donation from the Princess Pa Foundation. Their Highnesses also wished to send Their Encouragement to the people of Japan through the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand and expressed hope that the Japanese people would have good health, courage, and moral strength to overcome the crisis, as well as to return to eventual prosperity.
