Media Registration for Special Informal ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on East Asia Summit

On 11 April 2011, Thailand will host the Special Informal ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on East Asia Summit at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.

Members of the Thai and foreign media interested in covering the event are required to register.

1. Media Registration

1.1 Online Registration on 1-7 April 2004 through http://mmos.mfa.go.th

1.2 Onsite Registration on 10 April 2004 at 10.00-15.00 hrs at Peppino Room, the Shangri-La Hotel.

2. Required Documents for Registration

2.1 For Thai media: valid press card issued by the news agency and assignment letter signed by editor.

2.2 For foreign media based in Thailand: valid press card issued by the Department of Public Relations and assignment letter signed by editor.

2.3 For foreign media from abroad: valid passport and assignment letter signed by editor.

3. Media Pass Collection

3.1 Those who register online can collect media pass

  • on 8 April 2011 at the Press Division, Information Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or
  • on 10 April 2011 at 10.00-15.00 hrs or on 11 April 2011 at 08.00 — 18.00 hrs at Peppino Room, Shangri-la Hotel

In this connection, those collecting their media pass are required to present their original press card and/or passport and assignment letter signed by editor.

3.2 Those who register onsite are required to present original and copies of required documents on 10 April 2011 at 10.00-15.00 hrs and can collect their media pass on the same day or on 11 April 2011 at 08.00 — 18.00 hrs at Peppino Room, Shangri-la Hotel.

Note: The media members who do not register before 15.00 hrs of 10 April 2011, will not be allowed to cover the event.
