On 30 March 2011 Mr. Suangsan Jamornchan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, together with Mr. Buddhipongse Punnakanta, Vice Minister for Industry and Mr. Chin Pen Chua, Representative and Director, Regional Office in Thailand of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar on ‘Gearing toward Eco-industrial Towns: Thailand’s Direction and Experiences from Japan and Other Countries’. The event was held to share experiences and exchange views on policies and measures for eco-industrial development in Thailand and other countries. Experts from Thailand and foreign countries also attended the seminar, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
