Chilean tourist praises medical treatment in Thailand

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been informed by the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago, Chile, regarding letter from Mr. Andr?s Valdovinos Calderon, a Chilean tourist, expressing his appreciation for the excellent emergency medical treatment received while in Thailand. Mr Calderon recounted that in March 2011, while he was traveling in Thailand, he suffered from a sharp physical pain and sought medical assistance in a hospital in Bangkok. He was then impressed by the kind and patient treatment, as well as the low cost of the prescribed medicine. In addition, he also praised the Thai people for their warmth and hospitality, and expressed admiration for Thailand’s beauty.

According to the copy of the medical attention card enclosed with the letter,

Mr. Calderon had been treated at Lerdsin Hospital. In this regard, the Embassy had issued a letter to the hospital, with Mr. Calderon’s letter enclosed, conveying the message of his regards and admiration, and a good incentive for the hospital to continue keeping of their excellent service.
