Following the collapse of the Eleyele Dam near the city of Ibadan, in the State of Oyo, on 26 August 2011, which caused a considerable number of lives to be lost and massive damage to properties, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has sent a message of condolences of the Thai people to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria and the Nigerian people.
