Brunei Darussalam provides flood relief assistance to Thailand

On 4 November 2011, Dato Paduka Haji Khamis bin Haji Tamin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, during which he presented flood relief assistance worth 100,000 USD (3 million baht approximately) to Thailand.

On this occasion, the Ambassador conveyed a condolence message from the Government of Brunei Darussalam and expressed his hope that the flooding situation in Thailand would be recovered and returned to normalcy in the near future.

Foreign Minister Surapong expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and the Government or Brunei Darussalam for assistance and support to the flood victims in Thailand.
