On 16 -17 November 2011, the Honourable Ms. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of State of the United States of America, will visit Thailand to further strengthen the strong relations and alliance between the two countries and to support Thailand’s efforts in resolving the current flood situation. While in Thailand, Secretary Clinton will call on Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss on bilateral issues, the current flooding situation, and cooperation on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief both in short and long terms. The two sides will also discuss on regional issues.
After the visit to Thailand, Secretary Clinton will travel to Bali, Indonesia, to attend the East Asia Summit and the U.S. — ASEAN Leaders Meeting on 17 — 19 November 2011.
