Thailand welcomes the publication of the Report of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) presented to His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on 23 November 2011. The Report is a testament to the efforts of the Government of Bahrain to move the country towards national reconciliation. Thailand believes that the implementation of the recommendations proposed in the Report will pave the way forward for sustainable peace and prosperity of Bahrain. The Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand fully support the Government and the people of Bahrain in this endeavour.
Furthermore, Thailand praises the tireless efforts of His Majesty the King of Bahrain and the Government of Bahrain in working towards reform and reconciliation in the country.
