Thailand is gravely concerned and disappointed that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) had proceeded with the rocket launch which had serious repercussions for peace in the Korean Peninsula. Thailand urges the DPRK to heed the concern expressed by the international community and refrain from further actions that will disrupt peace in the Korean Peninsula.
Thailand encourages all involved parties to impress upon the DPRK to immediately resort to peaceful negotiations, on the basis of the Six-Party Talks, for sustainable peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula.
