Distinguished Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is sincerely indeed an honour and a pleasure for me to have signed here today, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in the Transfer of Offenders and Enforcement of Penal Sentences.
Pakistan and Thailand have long enjoyed close and cordial relations of friendship and cooperation. The signing of this Agreement underscores this friendship and will further expand cooperation between the two countries in the judicial field.
This Agreement aims at facilitating the rehabilitation of offenders, helping them to reintegrate themselves into their own society. It also serves as a framework to strengthen cooperation in law enforcement and the administration of justice between the two countries.
I look forward to the exchange of Instruments of Ratification to bring this Agreement into force in the near future.Your Excellency,
Distinguished Guests,
On this occasion, may I now invite all of you to join me in a toast to the enduring ties of friendship and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Thailand.
