At the invitation of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand, His Majesty Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah will pay a State Visit to Thailand from 9th to 12th March 2009. This visit will mark the first State Visit of Their Majesties the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia to Thailand since the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Thailand - Malaysia diplomatic relations on 31st August 2007, and will strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries and peoples
