Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to bid farewell upon completion of his assignment in the Kingdom.
During the call, both sides expressed pleasure at the steady development of bilateral relations between Thailand and Austria. The Foreign Minister expressed hope that the two countries would continue to strengthen their cooperation, especially in Austria’s areas of expertise such as environmental protection, education, and science. The Austrian ambassador was pleased that more Thai students were studying in Austria while Austrian tourists continued to visit Thailand. He hoped for more exchange visits between the two governments.
The courtesy call was followed by a dinner hosted in honour of Ambassador Riedel by the Foreign Minister.
