On 25 March 2010, Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Asia Center at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT).
Foreign Minister Kasit congratulated CSR Asia Center and stated that it was very important to raise awareness of all sectors in the society on ethics and morality regarding corporate social responsibility (CSR). The matter is an important mission for the public and private sectors to pursue vigorously. The Thai Foreign Ministry will work closely with the CSR Asia Center and will support the CSR in the international fora such as ASEAN, ASEM and APEC as well.
