The Thai Delegation, led by Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will attend the Inaugural Meeting under the Protocol on Consultation and Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Pakistan in Islamabad, Pakistan on 1 July 2010. The Pakistani side will be led by Mr. Masood Khalid, Additional Secretary (Asia and Pacific).
The Protocol on Consultation and Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Pakistan was signed on 29 April 2004 in an endeavor to strengthen bilateral relations as well as to explore the possibility for cooperation by both sides in various areas.
During the Meeting, both sides will discuss related bilateral and multilateral issues such as political affairs, security, economics, trade, finance, consular affairs, culture as well as science and technology in particular.
