TYREPLUS, the automobile light maintenance retail brand of Michelin, has celebrated its 100 branches in the country and has launched TYREPLUS M.A.S. one, the first TYREPLUS shop and training center operated by Michelin Siam Co Ltd.
Mr Gaetan Bachelet, Commercial Director of Passenger Car, Recreational and Light Truck Tyre Business Unit, Michelin Siam Co. Ltd., said: “After opening the first branch of TYREPLUS in Thailand in 2003, we had received a tremendous response from our allies, dealers and customers, allowing us to expand our network to 100 branches. This growth is over our expectations and in order to better accompany this success, we have opened our first integrated car light maintenance and training center under the name of TYREPLUS M.A.S. one, which is fully managed by Michelin.”
“Apart from offering one-stop service, TYREPLUS M.A.S. one will serve as a training center for TYREPLUS staff from all over the country in order to develop and maintain high quality of service thanks to strong standards operating procedure. It will support the growth of TYREPLUS centers in the future, with the goal of achieving 200 branches within 5 years,” he added.
TYREPLUS M.A.S. one has a servicing area of 850 sqm. which isdivided into 3 zones. The first is the reception area that is intended to provide customers with comfort and convenience while waiting for the vehicles to be serviced. Next is the operation zone which is the working area for the TYREPLUS expert team that has systematic workflow to ensure efficiency. The third zone is the training and operation zone which consists of a large meeting room on the second floor used for training TYREPLUS employees from other branches.
In addition, Mr. Gaetan also commented on the success of TYREPLUS, “TYREPLUS is one of the main Michelin’s retail concept worldwide.
