Tomo’s journey with Starwood started at Sheraton Maui at the Front Office and led him through F&B until he was promoted to assume the position of Director of Rooms at Sheraton Waikiki. Tomo joined Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a luxury collection hotel, Bangkok in 2010 and was most recently Hotel Manager.
Tomo Kuriyama has been promoted as the General Manager of Sheraton Pattaya Resort where it is the leading world class five-star luxury resort, offering spacious 156 guestrooms and top class facilities complemented by the warmth of Thai hospitalities, tropical gardens and oceanfront elegance.
The future of hotel business:“It will be interesting to see the hotel business evolve with technology. People will utilize digital but still expecting the personal interaction and hotels will need to adjust to find the right balance.” Tomo said.
