Bangkok--19 Feb--Ogilvy Public Relation Prime Minister YingluckShinawatraand Energy Minister PongsakRuktapongpisal(4 from left)presided over the official opening of the “West Huay Bong 2” and “West Huay Bong 3” in NakhonRatchasima province. The two projects are Thailand’s first and Southeast Asia’s largest wind farms, with combined nameplate capacity of 207 megawatts. The move has enhanced Thailand’s capability to become the alternative energy leader in the region while enhancing the country’s power security, reducing fossil fuel consumption and enabling the country to better manage risk related to energy used in electricity generating.
