Wine Boutique at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel is hosting a special Bastille Day (France National Day) celebration on Saturday 14 July with the popular combination of freshly-imported Fine de Claire oysters and free-flow red, white and rose wines from the vineyards of France. The celebration is designed as an early-evening pre-dinner social occasion from 5pm to 7pm.
Hotel General Manager Oliver Schnatz explains, "It's more than 200 years since the 'Storming of the Bastille', an event on 14 July 1789 that proved to be a deciding factor in the French Revolution. Known in France as La Fete Nationale, it is a day for uniting French families around the world. We look forward to welcoming guests from France and from many other countries to Wine Boutique on 14 July."
The Bastille Day oysters and wine celebration is priced at THB 1,799 net per person.
