Mercedes-Benz (Thailand), a global leader in the automobile industry, has recently organized the event called "Marriott Mercedes-Benz Client Appreciation Days 2020" to showcase its cutting-edge technologies and innovations that secure driving safety. The participants were Marriott International Executives and top cooperate supporters of hotels in the greater Bangkok Area who were mentored by professionals from Australia on how to drive safely with as many as 24 luxury models representing Mercedes-Benz cars from all segments including Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG- including Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 d 4 MATIC AMG Premium, Mercedes-Benz GLE 300 d 4 MATIC AMG Premium, Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster, and Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe, at Bira Circuit Pattaya.
Mr. Jakob Helgen, Area Vice President (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar) of Marriott International, said "It has been an honor to work with Mercedes-Benz making Marriott Mercedes-Benz Client Appreciation Days 2020 happen. This is the second year that the event has taken place, given great feedback from last year. This year, we had a total of 60 participants. The event aims to provide participants with knowledge, tips, and techniques on how to safely drive the luxury models of Mercedes-Benz. Participants were given first-hand experience of driving in a standard test field and learning about the performance tests at the same time, allowing them to learn how remarkable the safety innovations that come equipped with the cars are. In this regard, we prepared a variety of luxury models for the participants to test-drive, with hopes that this event will be beneficial to our clients, enabling them to find greater safety while driving."

At this event, the training on how to drive more safely took place at Bira Circuit in Pattaya with several stations provided: driving on a slalom course with high speed to learn more about car control, driving with rapid lane change to learn more about car conditions and control, emergency braking and how speed influences braking distance, and corner theory, as well as lead & follow that allowed participants to fully enjoy test-driving the vehicles.
