Uniting forces to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by keeping the guard high, wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing, Tops, Central Food Hall, FamilyMart and Matsumoto Kiyoshi are ready to assure customers and staff of a safe and convenient shopping experience. The stores strictly follow all safety measures, as listed below.

Safety measures for customers

  • Temperature screening for all customers, mandatory mask wearing at all times, and Thai Chana check-in/check-out in every visit. 
  • Social distancing markings are in place to ensure one-meter distance in queues and service areas.
  • Cashless society with payment on applications to avoid physical contact. 

Safety and hygiene measures in stores

  • Alcohol or hand gel dispensers are located at all entrances and fresh food areas.
  • Increased frequency for cleaning shopping trolleys, baskets, tools, tables, chairs, common areas and high-touch surfaces, using cleaning solutions and disinfection throughout the day. 
  • Cashier counters and product cabinets are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.  
  • Clear plexiglass panels are installed at cashier counters. 
  • Every employee must pass through temperature screening before work and must wear masks and gloves at all times while working. 

Food safety measures

  • Ready-to-eat meals are hygienic and freshly cooked on a daily basis, packaged in a sealed pack to maintain freshness and cleanliness. Salad bars, bakeries, fresh food, fruits, vegetables, and cured meats are packed in well-sealed containers to prevent contamination.
